Oh, the sky,
He cried on me.
He drizzled on me,
Oh so slightly.
He wept on me
Continuously,
I looked up and
I asked him,
“Why do you cry so?
He said,
“Oh the misery,
It just won’t go”

Oh, the sky,
He cried on me,
He drizzled on me,
Oh so slightly.
He wept continuously,
I abhorred watching his misery.
“I lost my soul, I lost my purpose,
I lost my sun, I am in confusion,”
He spoke to me.

I lifted my hands and caught his tears,
“Oh sky, for both you and I,
I have great fear.”
He yelled to me,
“Let go of my tears!  Let go of my tears!”
I said to him,
“Oh sky oh sky!  I too!  I too!
My purpose confuses me,
My soul it belies to me!..”
Then he cut me off in the middle of my speech,
“Let go! Let go!  This misery,
It shan’t ever go!”

I let go of his tears,
They fell on my clothes,
I sat down on the stairs and
Put my head down.
I cried,
I cried,
I cried.

The sky then called upon me,
“Why is your head down?
What is it that you are doing?”

I lifted my face,
And to his disgrace,
He saw the tears,
The tears of which streamed down upon
My face.

I explained,
“You may not allow me to catch your tears,
But I will sit here and I will cry for you.
I will weep for you,
And I will weep for you.”

He said,
“Oh you insane girl!  I want none to weep for me!”

I replied to him,
“As long as I am there for you, and I have my tears to share for you.
Have you failed to realize, how much it is I care for you?”

He let out lightening,
He let out flash,
All these timorous feelings,
Oh, they made me gasp.

I said to him,
“Sky I will cry for you!
Sky I will be there for you”

The showers came,
The thunder came,

I screamed to him,
“I have my tears to share for you!”

The wind blew, it pushed me away,
“Have you failed to realize,
How much it is I care for you?”

I cried,
I cried,
The tears they streamed,
He drizzled,
He drizzled,
I knew this wasn’t a dream.

The rain, the showers,
They fell on my face,
Our tears had connected,
And I saw deep sorrow on his face.

I told him,
“I want cool showers,
I want rain.
I want cool showers,
I want rain.
I want cool showers,
I want rain.
Nevertheless,
Our tears shall always
Be the same!”

OH YOU GUYSS!! I REALLY HOPE YOU LIKE THIS ONE!!

i connected it w/ my other poem "Cool Showers" -- and i'm not saying God is the sky, AstaghfurAllah, He is One, unlike His creation.

i was very tempted to write this today. i was coming home and the rain was drizzling on me, and i was locked out of my house for the second week in a row i think. So i sat on the stairs w/ my head down and i felt as if the sky and i were both crying.

i want honest opinoins!! thx!

I like it :) It reminds me of something but I'm not sure what. I like that the sky (whatever it is) didn't want you to hold onto it's tears.. like it wants to be sad? I'm not sure what i'm talking about. I really like it though :)
